The CLIM’ECO program, run by the Association Française du Froid (AFF), a non-profit association founded in 1908, is supported by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, ADEME, ENGIE and Vivo Energy Réunion (ENGEN) under the CEE scheme. It aims to raise awareness, inform and train households, local authorities and businesses to make better use of air conditioning through eco-gestures and best practices. Air conditioning is one of the types of equipment whose use sometimes accounts for more than 20% of household electricity consumption.
